Leading horse owner dies
* LONDON: Charles St George, who owned English classic winners Bruni and Ginevra as well as many other top horses, has died aged 66 from a heart attack, his wife confirmed yesterday. St George's black and white silks were among the best known in British racing. Among his best horses were dual Ascot Gold Cup winner Ardross, Ginevra, winner of the 1972 Oaks, Bruni, the 1975 St Leger winner and Michelozzo (1989 St Leger), as well as Lorenzaccio, who beat Nijinsky in the 1970 Champion Stakes.
