Tengku Mahkota of Pahang weds Julia Rais

SINGAPORE, Tues. - The Tengku Mahkota of Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah and actress Julia Rais were married in a private ceremony in Fraser's Hill last week, a local tabloid, The New Paper, reported today. Julia, 21, is now the second wife of Tengku Abdullah, 33, who married Johor princess, Tengku Hajah Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Sultan Iskandar, 31, in July 1986. The afternoon tabloid said the marriage ceremony was witnessed by close friends of the couple who were expected to hold a reception in Kuala Lumpur soon.
