Singapore to get Petronas gas supply from Jan 29

KUALA LUMPUR, Fri. - Gas supply to Singapore will begin on Jan 29. This will signify the completion of the final part of Petronas' $2.4 billion peninsular gas utilisation second phase (PGU II) project. Sources said that the installation of the undersea gas pipeline connecting the Pasir Gudang power station in Johor Baru and Senoko power station in Singapore has been completed. With this, gas will be piped to the Senoko power house, marking the beginning of Malaysia's gas sale to the republic.
