Blonde and beautiful

THE dumb blonde and the blonde bombshell are some of the myths that surround fair-haired women. And they also say that gentlemen prefer blondes and that blondes have more fun. The blonde stereotype is one of the most enduring beauty myths of the 20th Century. Originally the preserve of breathy Hollywood actresses and singers, the image spread far and wide, inspired by the original icon Marilyn Monroe or her numerous reincarnations, most recently in the form of Madonna and Linda Evangelista.
