Afdlin's one cool lad

AFDLIN Shauki was one confident lad during the Press conference announcing RAP's (Roslan Aziz Productions) Anything Can Happen month at Network, Bangsar. To quote the 20-year-old: "Roslan (Aziz) thinks I'm still very raw. Well, I don't think so." This, of course, he stated without appearing conceited. No matter what the young man might say, there is a certain rawness about him. But there is also no doubt that Afdlin will turn out to be a fine singer, with the right material and proper training. Right now, however, Afdlin seems quite content doing covers of his favourite singers - Jonathan Butler, Peabo Bryson, James Ingram, Bill Withers and Johnny Gill to name a few - changing his voice…
