Sabah's new State Sec

KOTA KINABALU: Chief Minister Datuk Seri Joseph Pairin Kitingan yesterday announced the appointment of the State Finance Ministry's permanent secretary, Datuk Datu Khalil Datu Jamalul, as the new State Secretary. Khalil, 49, succeeds Datuk Simon Sipaun who retired today. The appointment will take effect from tomorrow. Establishment Department director Datuk Jipanus Molukun will be the new Finance Ministry permanent secretary. The post he vacated will go to the Ministry's deputy permanent secretary, Datuk Boniface Matingal.
