Women's progress unhindered in Germany

"THE women in my country face little difficulty when it comes to developing their potential," says Monika Staks, wife of the German Ambassador, Juergen A. R. Staks. "They are highly educated and many of them are part of the workforce. Perhaps the biggest problem, a situation that occurs all over the world, is trying to combine having a career and looking after their families.
