Bright Packaging net loss narrows in Q3

KUALA LUMPUR: Bright Packaging Industry Bhd's net loss narrowed in the third quarter ended May 31 to RM403,000, from RM503,000 a year ago. This is despite it recording lower revenue, which fell 41.52 per cent to RM10.46 million from RM17.89 million previously. The low revenue was due to lower "in customers' order from the tobacco industry", said Bright Packaging. For the nine-month period, its net loss stood at RM2.5 million, from a net profit of RM177,000 in the same period a year ago.
