HLY MARINE SDN BHD SIGNS EXCLUSIVE DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT FOR PENINSULAR MALAYSIA WITH YAMAHA MOTOR CO., LTD, JAPAN

HLY Marine Sdn Bhd (formerly known as Hume Fibreboard Sdn Bhd) (“HLY Marine”) had recently signed an agreement with Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd (“YMC”), at the YMC’s headquarters in Iwata, Japan, whereby HLY Marine has been appointed as the exclusive re-seller and distributor of Yamaha Marine outboard motor products in Peninsular Malaysia. With this signing, HLY Marine, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hong Leong Industries Berhad, will put in place its 3S offerings which cover sales, service, and spare parts of Yamaha Marine outboard motor products which comprises the whole gamut of lightweight, heavyweight, and portable efficient power outboard motors.
