QWERTYUIOP - A Form Four Short Story

MORE than anything else, Lucy wants a job. At 17, she is ready to move away from her mother, who is "... much too nice for her own good", and her Uncle Bert, who drinks too much. When she graduates from Belmont Secretarial College, things look grim. She is at the bottom of her class, and the usually upbeat principal, Mrs Price, doesn't hold out much hope for the success of her least talented student.
