Former DAP rep decides not to contest

KLUANG: DAP's former Mengkibol assemblyman Ng Lum Hua, who is defending his seat as an independant candidate, announced yesterday that he was withdrawing from the election due to intimidation by DAP members. Ng claimed he was being harassed and threatened almost every day since he filed his nomination papers on Saturday. "They threaten to punch me, hurt me and my family and damage my car if I don't pull out," he said. My wife's blood pressure has gone up. She is worried. So, I pulled out."
