Indonesian stocks post biggest gain in 2 years

JAKARTA: INDONESIAN equities gained, with the benchmark index posting the steepest advance in nearly two years, as the government announced the first "appetiser" of a stimulus package to spur sagging growth. The rupiah strengthened for the first time in nine days.
