IJM Land unit, AHSB ink real estate deal

KUALA LUMPUR: IJM Land Bhd's unit, The Light Waterfront Sdn Bhd, has acquired one ordinary share of RM1 representing 50 per cent equity interest in Aura Hebat Sdn Bhd (AHSB). AHSB, a 50:50 joint venture company between The Light Waterfront and Perennial Penang Pte Ltd, is buying a 13.26ha site located within the group's existing The Light Waterfront development in Penang. "The property is to be developed into a large scale integrated waterfront mixed-use development comprising, among others, a shopping mall and thematic shops, residential towers, an office tower and two hotels," it told Bursa Malaysia yesterday.
