CCM appoints Leonard Ariff as group MD

KUALA LUMPUR: Chemical Company of Malaysia Bhd (CCM) has appointed Leonard Ariff Abdul Shatar as group managing director (MD) effective January 9. He was previously appointed acting chief executive officer on October 1 2014 following the resignation of group MD Amirul Feisal Wan Zahir on September 30. Leonard Ariff has spearheaded the transformation of the company's pharmaceutical division, leveraging its leading position in sterile manufacturing to develop the biotherapeutics portfolio, CCM said yesterday.
