KPJ plans to buy Sri Manjung Specialist Centre
KUALA LUMPUR: KPJ Healthcare Bhd, via its subsidiary Ipoh Specialist Hospital Sdn Bhd, plans to buy the entire stake in Sri Manjung Specialist Centre Sdn Bhd for RM14.25 million cash. "The proposed acquisition will enable KPJ Group to expand its network of hospitals to locations where private healthcare is in demand, enlarge the customer base and further establish itself as a key healthcare service provider in Malaysia," said the company in a Bursa Malaysia filing. The proposed acquisition, which will be funded via KPJ's internally generated funds, is expected to be completed by end of this year.
