Leaders' wives give aid to elderly folk

SANDAKAN: The Association of Wives of Sabah Barisan Nasional Elected Representatives (Bakisa) yesterday presented food items and cash to senior citizens. The chief minister's wife, Datuk Faridah Tussin, who is Bakisa president, handed over the gifts to the 50 people, who are from the Gum-Gum state constituency. Earlier, in a separate programme, Faridah presented contributions, comprising cash and walking sticks, to 52 visually impaired people at Pusat Latihan Taman Cahaya in Pekan Muhibbah near here.
