Hock Hua Bank upgrades IT set-up
HOCK Hua Bank Berhad, in a move to meet changing business requirements and its own expansion plans, has embarked on a strategic upgrade of its existing information technology (IT) set-up. Named Open Client-Server Banking System (OCBS), the project is costing the bank RM12 million to implement. The exercise involves the installation of new hardware and software systems. It will also see the bank's entire IT operations shifting from a centralised system to an open client-server environment.
