BURHANUDDIN Md Radzi is the man behind Malaysia's most famous animated characters Upin and Ipin, who could very well be Malaysia's answer to Mickey Mouse. Sharmila Valli Narayanan meets Burhanuddin, who tells her how he broke every rule in animation to become a local and regional sensation and reveals his pessimism for the future of animation in this country unless changes are embraced.
