Ford Excursion makes a grand debut
DETROIT, Sun: Ford Motor Co's Excursion, already notorious as the largest sport utility vehicle ever to roam the earth, is shaping up to be a monster seller as well. Two months before its September 30 on-sale date, dealers have placed orders for more than 28,000 of the 19-foot giants, Ford officials said. That accounts for over half the 50,000 Excursions the No 2 carmaker expects to sell in the US during the SUV's first year.
