Life after Chua

THE NEWS CAME as a shock to many in the stockbroking community. On March 3, 1992, the nine-year-old partnership of the `odd couple', Abdul Rashid Hussain and Chua Ma Yu, fell apart. Both men announced that it was an amicable separation. But sources close to them say the `divorce' was inevitable. Strains had already begun to appear sometime before the split. `It came to a point that both men were actually uncomfortable with each other,' says one source.
