Yahaya's challenge

FOR his acquisition of Hicom, Datuk Seri Yahaya Ahmad has earned himself a number of titles, from an auto taipan to a czar. Such open admiration is not without a firm basis, however. With the nearly two billion ringgit Hicom purchase, Yahaya's Master Carriage Group (MCM) is now in firm control of nearly 90% of the nation's automotive sector.
