SHAHEILA Abdul Majid better known as Sheila Majid, was born on January 3, 1965. The dimunitive songstress is proof that appearances can be deceptive for she packs a powerful voice that has made her the current best in the business. The reigning Queen of Jazz professes a love for black music and says her childhood was spent listening to funky sounds which have influenced her till today. Her four albums Dimensi Baru, Warna, Emosi and the most recent Legenda have done exceptionally well. The latter, a compilation of the music of the late P.
