ntv7 to export TV shows in five years

MEDIA Prima's unit Natseven TV Sdn Bhd (ntv7) has set a target of three to five years to export its in-house local television programmes. Its chief executive officer, Amrin Awaluddin, said the TV channel had identified Indonesia, China, and Hong Kong as the immediate potential markets. "This is our long-term investment. This year, we have an allocation of RM30 million from Media Prima and we are going to use some of the money specifically for developing in-house programmes," he said.
