PEC awards EPCC contract to CNCEC

KUALA LUMPUR: Pengerang Energy Complex Sdn Bhd (PEC) has awarded the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) contract for its downstream petrochemical facility in Johor to China National Chemical Engineering Co Ltd (CNCEC). PEC said CNCEC was selected following a comprehensive evaluation process that assessed technical expertise, financial strength and project execution capabilities. The award comes as PEC progresses through the final approval stages with global export credit agencies and project finance lenders.
