Short selling for Tanco suspended
KUALA LUMPUR: Short selling on Tanco Holdings Bhd has been suspended after the stock extended its decline for the fourth consecutive day. The counter dropped as much as 27.27 per cent in early trade on Tuesday to 88 sen from Monday’s close of RM1.12 and finally closed at 80 sen. With about 78 million shares traded, it was among the top three actively traded stocks on Bursa Malaysia. Bursa Malaysia said intraday short selling will only be allowed today at 08.30am.
