The 20-point Gaza peace plan

THE 20-point Gaza peace plan announced by United States President Donald Trump in Washington on Sept 29 was welcomed by more countries than expected, including Arab and Muslim nations. There is only one reason for this unexpected enthusiasm: the promise of an end to the horrific suffering of the Palestinians. To date, Israel has massacred more than 66,000 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Alarmingly, even famished Gazans rushing to humanitarian aid centres were shot by the Israeli Defence Forces.
