Petronas awards field contract to Dialog

KUALA LUMPUR: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas), through Malaysia Petroleum Management (MPM), has awarded a small field-asset production sharing contract for the Mutiara Cluster in the Sandakan Basin in Sabah to Dialog Resources Sdn Bhd. The contract was awarded under the Malaysia Bid Round 2025. The Mutiara cluster comprises five fields, namely Nymphe, Nymphe North, Kuda Terbang, Benrinnes and Mutiara Hitam. Petronas said the cluster was expected to achieve first production by 2029.
