Wasco unit opens new facility in UAE

KUALA LUMPUR: Wasco Bhd’s energy services arm Wasco Energy has opened a new fabrication yard in the Jebel Ali Free Zone, the United Arab Emirates (UAE), enhancing its modular engineering and fabrication capabilities to support energy and industrial infrastructure projects. It can produce process modules, pre-assembled unit/pre-assembled rack units, gas compressor packages, substations and E-Houses. Wasco Energy chief executive officer Shan Karupiah said this positions the company closer to its clients and the region’s dynamic energy landscape.
