Of unsafe vehicles and reckless drivers

RECKLESS drivers and the owners of commercial vehicles have caused the loss of so many lives over the years, we would be forgiven for thinking that they would be spending a good part of their lives in prison. Instead, it is business as usual for them. Because  we are never tough on them, especially the owners of commercial vehicles. What we are good at is to hurry to form a task force or committee when such terrible tragedies occur, hoping that they would end them for good. In Malaysia, commerce trumps people.
