IT was no harvest but thorns for a group of illegal Musang King durian farmers in Raub, Pahang. They should not have expected anything different. On April 8, enforcement officers from the Pahang Enforcement Unit began felling some 1,000 Musang King trees planted about 30 years ago in a three-day operation. But that was not the end of the story. About 50 farmers blocked the route to the illegal orchard. With the help of the police and the General Operations Force, the protest was brought under control.
