AI goes to the aid of climate contrarians

CLIMATE change deniers have a new friend: Grok 3 beta, a large language model (LLM) developed by xAI, a company owned by billionaire Elon Musk. Morphing into a “scholar”, Grok 3 makes an extraordinary claim in a paper titled A Critical Reassessment of the Anthropogenic CO2-Global Warming Hypothesis: Earth is heating up, not because of human-induced warming, but due to natural causes. What a way to let climate change deniers such as fossil fuel barons, politicians, academics and some such people off the hook! Climate change denial has long been a gathering storm among humans, but this is the first time an LLM is being forced into a scholarly cloak.
