Semenyih 2 water facility completed

KUALA LUMPUR: Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd (Air Selangor), in partnership with Schneider Electric, has completed Malaysia’s first digital twin Semenyih 2 water treatment plant (WTP). Operational since 2022, Semenyih 2 WTP is also the country’s first to be equipped with the Asset Digital Twin Technology capable of autonomous operation across standard, start-up and shutdown processes. The plant can deliver an average of 100 million litres per day and is projected to achieve up to a 20 per cent improvement in productivity.
