New CEO for Islamic Relief Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Islamic Relief Malaysia has appointed Siti Fadilah Mohd Hood as its chief executive officer (CEO), effective Feb 1. Its board of trustees chairman Datuk Seri Syed Saleh Syed Abdul Rahman said Siti Fadilah replaced Mohd Shukor Tahir, whose service ended on Jan  31. Siti Fadilah was previously the deputy CEO responsible for planning, implementing and overseeing its operations. “With extensive experience in the humanitarian and welfare sector for 18 years with Islamic Relief Malaysia, Siti Fadilah has demonstrated leadership in fundraising, marketing, communications and programme development,” he said in a statement.
