Foong is KPMG managing partner

KUALA LUMPUR: KPMG Malaysia has appointed Foong Mun Kong as its managing partner, effective immediately. Foong succeeded Datuk Johan Idris, who transitioned to the role of non-executive chairman. Foong has experience in audit and assurance, having previously served as KPMG Malaysia head of audit. “His contributions extend beyond the firm, holding positions such as vice-president of Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants and council member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants,” said Johan.
