Contract officers will also get 15pc pay rise

THE 15 per cent salary increment for civil servants will also be granted to contract officers. Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department (Federal Territories) Dr Zaliha Mustafa said the management of contract officers will be conducted according to Public Service Circular No. 1 of 2024. “A salary adjustment of 15 per cent will be implemented in phases, with eight per cent in phase one and seven per cent in phase two. This adjustment for the management and professional group, as well as the implementing group, will also be extended to contract officers,” she said.
