Prasarana confirms cybersecurity issue

KUALA LUMPUR: Prasarana Malaysia Bhd has confirmed a cybersecurity incident involving part of its internal system, hours after a threat intelligence platform, FalconFeeds, reported that Prasarana had fallen victim to RansomHub ransomware. The public transport company said yesterday its cybersecurity team was addressing the incident, which involved unauthorised access to some of its systems. “We are working with cybersecurity experts. We would like to confirm that this does not affect our operations.”
