Sentral REIT posts RM20.5m Q2 profit

KUALA LUMPUR: Sentral REIT’s net profit rose 16.4 per cent to RM20.53 million in the second quarter ended June 30 versus RM17.63 million a year ago. It said the growth period was underpinned by stronger net property income, net of higher finance cost, manager’s fee and trustee’s fee. Revenue rose to RM49.03 million from RM38.2 million previously. Sentral REIT’s net profit for the cumulative six months rose to RM40.42 million from RM35.3 million while revenue increased to RM98.72 million from RM75.67 million previously.
