Hartalega sets new ESG benchmark

KUALA LUMPUR: Nitrile glove manufacturer Hartalega Holdings Bhd has set a new environment, social and governance benchmark for the glove industry by announcing third party reviewed carbon footprint for three of its products. The company’s first life cycle assessment LCA study, covering data from July 2021 to June 2022, evaluated the environmental impact of three major products: the BDG Nitrile Biodegradable Glove, Standard Nitrile Glove, and COATS Colloidal Oatmeal Coated Glove.
