BNM reserves at US$114.8b

KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara Malaysia had US$114.8 billion in international reserves as of Jan 31. The central bank said the changes in the quarterly foreign exchange revaluation have been factored into the reserve level. It added that the reserves position was sufficient to finance 5.4 months of goods and services imports and is 1.0 time of the total short-term external debt.
