Keladi Maju's unit to buy land

KELADI Maju Bhd said its subsidiary, S.P. Medical Centre Sdn Bhd (SPMC), yesterday entered into a conditional agreement with Henrietta Rubber Estate Ltd to acquire seven pieces of freehold agricultural land totalling 617.5ha in Mukim Naga Lilit, Kulim for RM38 million. In an announcement to the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange yesterday, Keladi Maju said SPMC agreed on the price after considering the current market value of properties located in the said property which is currently an oil palm plantation, the yield from the oil palm trees, its strategic location and good potential for future property development.
