Sirul could be rearrested if Australia passes new law

KUALA LUMPUR: Former police officer Sirul Azhar Umar, who was convicted over the murder of Mongolian Altantuya Shaariibuu in 2006, could be rearrested as the Australian government is in the process of enacting a new law designed to place threatening offenders back behind bars.
