Sabbaruddin confirms he will step down as minister

DATUK Seri Sabbaruddin Chik yesterday confirmed that he will step down as Culture, Arts and Tourism Minister. He said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Mahathir Mohamad had asked him to do so at yesterday's Cabinet weekly meeting, Bernama reports "In politics, stepping down is normal ... we can also be removed.
