Emkay's strategy turns crisis into opportunity

EMKAY's strategy of planning affordable property units in the good times coupled with its vast landbank has enabled the group to turn the recent economic crisis into an opportunity. Its executive chairman, Tan Sri Mustapha Kamal Abu Bakar, said this coupled with its low gearing, helped the company to offer cheaper products and launch property sales quicker than others while developing good product designs and cost control mechanisms.
