MetroVision off the air temporarily

METROVISION, the fourth free-to-air television channel, will temporarily cease transmission from today to implement new technological solutions and expansion programmes for a relaunch in the new millennium. Its chief operating officer Mirza Mohamed Tariq Beg said the temporary suspension of transmission would facilitate the implementation of its expansion programme to all major metropolitan areas on the West Coast of the peninsula in conjunction with a major revamp and a new look for the station.
