Petronas, BP to invest in Kuantan acetic acid plant

NATIONAL oil corporation, Petronas, and BP Chemicals of the UK are planning to jointly invest in a 500,000 tonnes per annum acetic acid plant in Kuantan. The plant is scheduled to come onstream at the end of 1999.
