PETRONAS signed a deal for an estimated US$700 million (US$1 = RM2.64) integrated petrochemical complex that will poroduce feedstocks to manufacture plasticiers and acetates for use by manufacturers. The setting up of the complex in Gebeng, Kuantan, is the first joint venture between the national oil corporation and German petrochemical giant BASF.
