ECERDC secures RM1.4b investments

KUALA LUMPUR: The East Coast Economic Region Development Council (ECERDC) has secured committed investments worth RM1.4 billion in Kelantan’s manufacturing, agribusiness and services sectors as of Aug 31. Of the total, 50.1 per cent is foreign direct investment in the manufacturing sector, whereas the rest is domestic direct investment in the agribusiness and services sectors. The recently completed Tok Bali Integrated Fisheries Park is also expected to provide an opportunity to participate in downstream activities.
