Petronas-BASF deal to set up petrochem plants

PETROLIAM Nasional Bhd (Petronas), the country's national oil corporation and BASF Aktiengeselischaft of Germany have agreed to jointly embark on the construction and operation of three new petrochemical plants at the Gebeng Industrial Estate in Kuantan, Pahang.
