MIER proposes mandatory EPF coverage of all workers

KUALA LUMPUR: The Malaysian Institute of Economic Research (MIER) has urged the government to consider a long-term policy direction towards mandatory Employees Provident Fund (EPF) coverage of all workers by implementing a voluntary opt-out mechanism in the 2024 Budget.
