Shahbandar Raya by-election

THE Selangor State Barisan Nasional (BN) is prepared to face the by- election in the Shahbandar Raya State constituency, which was left vacant following the death of assemblyman Datuk T.M. Thurai. Menteri Besar Tan Sri Muhammad Muhammad Taib said the State BN held a meeting yesterday morning to discuss the by-election. "Our discussion include the possible candidate for the by-election," he told reporters after opening the State Agriculture Development Corporation (PKPS) Agro-industry complex in Jeram near Kuala Selangor yesterday. Asked whether the BN will maintain the candidate from MIC, Muhammad who is also the State BN chairman said it is too early to decide.
